Efektivitas Metode Life Coaching Untuk Meningkatkan Subjective Well Being pada Difabel

Abstract:

The high level of life satisfaction, positive emotions, and low negative emotions felt can indicate that someone is happy in carrying out his life. This study aims to examine the effect of the life coaching method in increasing subjective well-being in the diffable. The subjects in this study were 16 disabled people who live in the Yogyakarta Special Region. The research method used is the experimental method, with true experimental research design, and the experimental design used is the pretest-posttest with control group design. Data collection in the study was conducted using a subjective well-being scale. The analysis technique used is the Wilcocon and Mann-Whitney U test. Based on the Wilcoxon analysis results obtained a score of Z = -1.581 with p = 0.114 (p> 0.05), then there is no difference in subjective well-being scores before and after the life method is given coaching on diffables. Based on the results of the Mann-Withney U analysis showed a score of Z = -0.422 with a value of p = 0.673 (p> 0.05), then there was no difference in the level of subjective well-being in the experimental group and the control group. Based on the analysis, it can be concluded that there is no effect of the life coaching method on the level of subjective wellbeing in the experimental group before and after the method is given, and there is no difference in the average level of subjective well-being between the control group and the experimental group.
