Abstract: This study aims to describe anetermine the content of the development of the main character values, namely: religious values, nationalism values, mutual cooperation values, independent values, and integrity values contained in the Student Book and Teacher’s Book for Class IV Elementary School 2013 Curriculum 2017 Revised Edition. Theme 1 The Beauty of Togetherness. This research is a qualitative research with descriptive content analysis research type carried out in three stages, namely: data reduction, data presentation, namely (data classification; data description), and drawing conclusions. Sources of data in this study were the Teacher’s Book and Class IV Student Book, 2017 Edition of the Beautiful Theme of Togetherness. The object of this research is the content of the character values contained in the book. The results showed that the Student Book and Teacher’s Book for Class IV Elementary School 2013 Curriculum Edition 2017 Revision Theme 1 The Beauty of Togetherness has contained character values consisting of religious values, nationalism values, independent values, mutual cooperation values, and integrity values with a non evenly distributed because it depends on the focus of character development from the student book theme Beautiful Togetherness class IV primary school curriculum 2013 revised edition 2017.
