Abstract:

This study aims to determine the self concept of tattooed young woman in Yogyakarta. With the criteria of young women aged 12-21 years. This research is a qualitative research using a case study approach. Data collection methods using interviews and data analysis methods using content analysis. The results showed that both subjects had low and different selfconcepts. Can be found in the results of interviews that have been conducted. It was concluded that in subject 1 the subject’s self-concept was low in social, physical, and psychological aspects. The low social aspects of the subject can be seen in which the subject includes people who are not easy to get along with and never mingle with the environment. Subjects who feel inferior about their appearance and very simple family circumstances prove the low self-concept of the subject in physical and psychological aspects. Whereas subject 2 has a low self concept in psychic aspects.
