Abstract:

The research conducted aims to explore the use of information technology in the implementation of the teaching and learning process at SD Muhammadiyah Ngadiwinatan during the COVID-19 pandemic. The research method used is a library method. Education in Indonesia is currently very influential in terms of the learning system due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The use of information technology in the learning process was very supportive during the COVID-19 Pandemic. The development of information technology is currently able to connect teachers and students through applications in the form of WhatsApp group, e-learning, zoom google doc, google classroom or google form. The Ministry of Education and Culture facilitates an online learning platform for students for free through the “Rumah Belajar” program through the national television station, namely TVRI, to provide learning materials that are in the Home Study program for areas that are constrained by learning online. Grade I-III students use the whatsapp group application as an alternative in online learning while grade IV-VI students use the whatsapp group and zoom application. The role of parents and teachers is very important in the online teaching and learning process.
