Peningkatan Motivasi Siswa dalam Pembelajaran Matematika dengan Model Kooperatif Tipe Think Pair Share (TPS) pada Siswa Kelas V SD Negeri Gelaran III

Abstract:

The subjects of this study were 20 grade students of SD Negeri Gelaran III, totaling 20 students. The object of this research is to increase student learning motivation using the Think Pair Share (TPS) type of cooperative learning model. This research design uses several stages, namely planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. Data collection was obtained using observation sheets, questionnaires, and test questions. The data analysis technique in this research is descriptive analysis and percentage. The results show that learning through the Think Pair Share (TPS) cooperative model can increase student learning motivation, an increase in the average value of student learning motivation can be seen from the results of student motivation questionnaires in cycle I by 75% to 87% in cycle II or increase. amounting to 12%, from the criteria “Good” to “Very Good”. Based on the results of observations of student learning motivation obtained an increase of 11.37%, namely from the first cycle of 72.3% to 83.67% in the second cycle, in the criteria of “Good” to “Very Good” as well. Based on the results obtained from the research, it can be concluded that the learning process using the Think Pair Share (TPS) type of cooperative learning model can increase student learning motivation.
