Keefektifan Pembelajaran Strategi Problem Based Learning (PBL) Ditinjau Hasil Belajar Siswa Pada Tema Kayanya Negeriku Kelas IV SD Negeri 3 Pengasih

Abstract:
This research is motivated by the problem of low student learning outcomes in thematic class IV learning material theme of the rich theme of my country the sub-theme of wealth of energy sources in Indonesia. This condition is caused by the learning strategies used by the teacher which have not varied, the behavior of students who are still busy and joking with their peers, the student discussion is still low and the last passive students in the learning process. This study aims to determine the problem based learning strategy can improve student learning outcomes in thematic learning materials class IV theme rich in my country the sub-theme of wealth of energy sources in Indonesia SD Negeri 3 Pengasih. This research is an experimental research type of experiment used is Pre -experiment. This research was conducted in 3 stages (pretest, experiment, posttest). The subjects in this study were grade IV students of SD Negeri 3 Pengasih, totaling 29 students. Data collection techniques in this study were carried out through observation, tests, and documentation. The data analysis technique used is quantitative descriptive. Based on the results of research with the N -gain score test, it shows that the average value of the N-gain score for the experimental class (problem based learning method) is 62.8985 or 62.9% included in the category of Fairly effective with an N-gain score of at least 45.50% and a maximum of 85.65%, it can be concluded that the use of the problem based learning method is quite effective to find out student learning outcomes in the theme material. I think my country is the theme of Wealth of Energy Resources in Indonesia.
