HUBUNGAN PENGETAHUAN DAN SIKAP K3 DENGAN PERILAKU SELAMAT DI BAGIAN PRODUKSI PT. MANDIRI JOGJA INTERNASIONAL

Abstract:

PT. Mandiri Jogja International is handicraft industry which uses leather as a production material. This industry able to compete in the national and international arena. The production process uses production tools and machinery that can cause work accidents ecpecially in several aspects such as knowledge about occupational health and safety, the importance of using PPE, compliance, attitudes and behavior that is not cinsidered by worker which cause negligence while working resulting in work accidents. Knowledges about OSH is needed to see the extent to which worker understand the appication of OSH and the apply it in the form of attitudes and behavior of survivor at work. The study aims to determaine the relationship between knowledges and attitudes of OSH with safety behavior in the production department at PT. Mandiri Jogja International. This research is a quntitative analytic study with cross sectional design. Research subjects were workers in the production section of PT. Mandiri Jogja Internasional numbered 54 workers. The research instrument is a questionnaire. Data analysis with unvariate and biavariate analysis. The bivariate analysis showed that there was a relationship between OHS knowledges and safety behavior in the production department PT. Mandiri Jogja International p-value = 0,034. There is a relationship between OHS attitudes and safety behavior in the production department PT. Mandiri Jogja International p-value = 0,006.
