Analisis keaktifan belajar peserta didik kelas IX mata pelajaran IPA selama pembelajaran daring pada masa pandemi Covid-19 di SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Depok Sleman

Abstract: The Covid-19 pandemic has an impact on the education system in Indonesia, one of which is the obstruction of teaching and learning activities which are usually carried out face-to-face into online learning (in a network). Online learning is an alternative solution to solve the educational problems that are currently happening during the Covid-19 pandemic. This study aims to determine the level of active learning of class IX students in science subjects conducted online at SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Depok Sleman. This research was conducted using an observation method during online learning activities through Google Classroom. The instrument used was the observation sheet of students’ learning activeness. The results of the study showed that in science class IX animal reproduction material there were 37 students (43, 02%) who actively participated in learning, in inheritance material there were 27 students (31.39%) who actively participated in learning and in the material. There are 42 students (48.83%) who actively participate in the learning process. The conclusion of this study is the level of learning activeness of class IX students in online learning at SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Depok Sleman is categorized as quite active.
