Abstract:

Teachers must be able to motivate students and guardians as companions of students in the online learning process.  Online learning currently really requires teacher creativity in motivating students and student guardians to be able to direct students to learn actively.  The results of the discussion of TK ABA Ngampilan teachers in providing student motivation for early childhood during the COVID-19 pandemic include verbal and nonverbal motivation.  The obstacles encountered in providing motivation during the COVID-19 pandemic were that there were some parents or guardians of students who could not operate the WhatsApp application, did not have an Android-based smartphone and had difficulty getting signals in the area where they lived.  Teachers always motivate their students and contact parents by asking them about their children’s play and learning activities while at home, for children who never or rarely send assignments

Key Words: Creativity, inhibition, motivation
