ANALISIS FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHI TABUNGAN MASYARAKAT NELAYAN DI PESISIR PANTAI SELATAN DIY

Abstract:

The southern coast of Yogyakarta is directly adjacent to the Indian Ocean so that this beach is a potential area for capture fisheries midwives. However, as a fisherman with unpredictable conditions at sea, it causes people’s income to decrease and it is difficult to meet their daily needs and to save money. This research uses descriptive method and the data is processed using Stata 14. This research has been conducted in the coastal areas of the South Coast of Bantul and Gunungkidul. The research location was carried out on 5 beaches from 3 districts, namely Bantul beach consisting of Kuwaru beach, Goa Cemara beach, and Depok beach. Meanwhile, the beaches in Gunungkidul consist of Baron and Drini beaches. The purpose of this research is to see the condition of fishermen’s savings and the factors that influence it. The results showed that fishermen’s savings varied widely, ranging from 200,000 to 576,000,000. While the variables that influence it are income, education, and number of dependents.
