Peningkatan Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis dan Hasil Belajar dengan Metode Mind Mapping Kelas IV SD Muhammadiyah Ngijon 1

Abstract: The research which aims to determine the increase in critical thinking skills and learning outcomes in grade IV SD using the mind mapping method. The subjects in this study were the fourth grade students of SD Muhammadiyah Ngijon 1 for the 2018/2019 academic year, totaling 32 students. The results showed that learning in pre-action got the results of critical thinking skills with an average of 60.3 in the “enough” category, continued in cycle I got an average of 66 in the “good” category and increased in the second cycle with an average of 80 in the “very good” “. While the acquisition in the pre-action learning outcomes with a mean of 21.8 which was categorized as incomplete and continued in cycle I got an average of 71.4 which was categorized as incomplete so that the second cycle was carried out. In the second cycle the learning outcomes get a mean of 79.8 which indicates the KKM complete category with a KKM score of 75 and the criteria are “Good”. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the use of mind mapping learning methods can improve critical thinking skills and learning outcomes of fourth grade students of SD Muhammadiyah Ngijon 1.
