Pengembangan Media Pop Up Book Mitigasi Bencana Kekeringan Bagi Siswa Sekolah Dasar

Abstract:
Indonesia is a country that has a high level of disaster prone to disaster mitigation. Disaster mitigation is an effort made to reduce the risk of natural disasters. Disaster mitigation needs to be instilled from an early age in elementary school through disaster education which has the aim of providing an overview in the learning process for disaster preparedness. This study aims to determine the steps, quality, and feasibility of drought mitigation pop up book media for elementary school students. This type of research is included in Research and Development (R&D) referring to the 4D model which has 4 stages, namely define, design, development and desimination. The data collection technique is in the form of an assessment sheet. Data analysis used qualitative and quantitative analysis.The results showed that the developed pop up book media received an assessment from media experts and obtained a score of 100 in the “Very Appropriate” category, material experts obtained a score of 97.92 in the “Very Appropriate” category, learning experts obtained a score of 78.85 in the category “Eligible “, The results of the student response questionnaire conducted at SD Negeri Kembangjitengan 2 in small group trials and large group trials obtained an average value of 100 in the” Very Appropriate “category, the results of the teacher’s response questionnaire assessment of the feasibility of pop up book media for drought mitigation. obtained a score of 95 in the category “Very Eligible”. So it can be concluded that the drought mitigation pop up book media is suitable for use in the learning process with a very good category.
