Penggunaan Media Kartu Kata untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Membaca, Menulis, Berhitung Kelas 1 SD Muhammadiyah Kalangan Bantul

Abstract:
This research is motivated by the lack of maximum learning outcomes of students in learning to read, write, count. This study aims to improve student learning outcomes using word card media.The type of research used is Classroom Action Research, the research subjects of class I students are 30, while the object of this research is the learning outcomes of students. Data collection techniques used were tests, observation and documentation. The data collection instruments used were test questions, student activity observation sheets and teacher learning activities, and documentation. The data analysis technique used quantitative and qualitative data analysis. The criteria for the success of this study were seen from the increase in student learning outcomes in increasing reading, writing, arithmetic reaching 75% of students above the KKM value.The results of this study indicate an increase in the cycle and process as well as learning outcomes. In the pre-cycle learning activities before using word card media, the average score of students reading ability was 63.8, writing 64.4, counting 54.66. In the first cycle the ability to read 64.93, write 66.6, count 67.5 and in the second cycle there was an increase to the ability to read 77.5, write 77, count 77.5. It can be concluded that the use of word card media can improve student learning outcomes in the ability to read, write, and count in grade I SD Muhammadiyah Kalangan Bantul.
