PEMANFAATAN SOCIAL MEDIA DALAM MENINGKATKAN MINAT WARGANET UNTUK BERWISATA KULINER DI YOGYAKARTA

Abstract:

Social media is a new media that is now being favored by all groups so that it has great benefits for its users. There are also social media influencers that make it easier for netizens to use social media as a means of information to meet their needs. Social media accounts that contain information about culinary tourism or commonly referred to as foodgrammers are currently most popular with all people in Indonesia because of the diversity of their food and also the flavors that can arouse the tastes of the Indonesian people. This study uses a qualitative approach in which the researcher will also look for sources of information using observation, interviews and documentation. The data validation technique in this study used data triangulation, which was to validate the data or check the data by comparing the results of the interviews. The results of research on the use of social media are that social media can make it easier for netizens to find the information they are trying to find. With the foodgrammer, it is easier for netizens to find information about culinary in Yogyakarta. In addition, this can also increase UKM in Yogyakarta because these foodgrammers also help promote culinary from various circles.
