Efektivitas Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Teams Games Tournament (TGT) Untuk Meningkatkan Keaktifan Dan Hasil Belajar Mata Pelajaran IPS Kelas V SD Muhammadiyah Gerso

Abstract:

The purpose of this study is to test the effectiveness of the TGT (Teams Games Tournament) type of learning model in the social studies subject in terms of activeness and learning outcomes of the fifth grade students of SD Muhammadiyah Gerso. This study used a Pre-Experimental Design (Non-design) with a one-group pretest-posttest design research design. This study uses 1 class to be used as an experiment. The subjects of this study were all students in grade V, amounting to 21 students. The object of this research is the activeness and learning outcomes of the fifth grade students of SD Muhammadiyah Gerso using the TGT type of learning. The technique of collecting data uses observations and tests that have been validated by expert lecturers. The results showed that (1) there was a significant difference in the tendency of activeness and student learning outcomes before and after using the TGT type of learning. The score of activeness before treatment shows a mean of 8.3333 and a standard deviation of 2.08167, while the score of activeness after treatment shows a mean score of 14.6667 and a standard deviation of 2.3094. The trend of learning outcomes before treatment showed a mean score of 11,000 and a standard deviation of 3.28634, while the score after treatment showed a mean of 15.4762 and a standard deviation of 2.35837. (2) the TGT model is effective in increasing activeness and learning outcomes as evidenced by the active value of 3.124 with a value of p = 0.045 <0.05. Meanwhile, the value of learning outcomes of 5, 490 with a value of p = 0.000 <0.05.
