Analisis permasalahan pembelajaran daring dengan platform JB Class mata pelajaran biologi di SMA Negeri 1 Piyungan Yogyakarta

Abstract: Online learning carried out at SMA N 1 Piyungan uses JB Class, but this online learning cannot be separated from various obstacles. The purpose of this study was to determine the various problems faced by teachers and students in using JB Class in biology subjects. This research is a quantitative descriptive study of data collection techniques using questionnaires and interviews. The population in this study were all students of class X and XI, totaling 160 students, and 2 biology teachers at SMAN 1 Piyungan, while the samples of this study were 64 students and 2 teachers.. This study found the results of online learning problems at SMA N 1 Piyungan during this pandemic were indeed effective, but there were several problems for teachers and students. From the results of the questionnaire conducted by the teacher, the use of the JB Class platform was no more than face-to-face learning with a percentage of 37.5%, then it was also unable to improve students’ affective, cognitive, and psychomotor abilities with a percentage of 50%. In addition, the student questionnaire also assessed that learning with JB Class was no better than face-to-face with a percentage of 10.937%, students’ understanding of the material through JB Class was not optimal with a percentage of 3.122%. Most of the students mentioned that the most important obstacle was network problems or unstable signal and made online learning not run smoothly so that errors often occurred when using the JB Class
