Pengaruh Pembelajaran STEM-PjBL Terhadap Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis Siswa Kelas V di SD Muhammadiyah Karangwaru

Abstract: This study aims to describe the critical thinking skills of grade V students of STEM-PjBL learning at SD Muhammadiyah Karangwaru and the effect of STEM-PjBL learning on students’ critical thinking skills. This research is an experimental research. The research method used is Quasi Experimental Design with the form of research design Nonequivalent control group design. Primary data were obtained from class VA students ranked 26 students and class VB students at SD Muhammadiyah Karangwaru. The data technique used was a test of critical thinking skills and STEM-PjBL learning. The instrument used was a test of critical thinking skills in the form of an essay. The results showed that the STEM-PjBL model could improve students’ critical thinking skills. Students become more enthusiastic in participating in learning compared to conventional learning. Thus it can be critical that, the ability to think before and after the application of STEM-PjBL students has increased and the application of STEM-PjBL learning is carried out by a significant influence on students’ critical thinking abilities.
