Analisis Kesulitan Belajar Operasi Hitung Perkalian dan Pembagian Siswa Kelas IV SD Muhammadiyah Sagan Yogyakarta

Abstract:

The subjects of this study were class teachers and 4 grade IV students, Ibnu Kholdun, with the reasons for the recognition of the teacher during the pre-interview and that the teacher was more involved during the teaching and learning activities and direct discussion with the parents of the students. The objects taken are the types of difficulties in learning the multiplication and division arithmetic operations, as well as the factors that hinder learning the multiplication and division calculation operations. Data collection techniques in the form of interviews, test questions and documentation. The results found were the types of difficulties in learning multiplication and division counting operations experienced by students, namely difficulties in distinguishing symbols, difficulties in solving multiplication and division counting operations problems, weaknesses in understanding the concept of numbers, difficulties in distinguishing the relationships between concepts. multiplication and division numbers, while the factors of learning difficulties in multiplication and division counting operations experienced by students are the physical condition of the students, the spiritual state that is in students, the attitudes of parents to students, the home environment or the families of students the attitude of teachers in school, the curriculum used by the school.
