Analisis Gaya Kata dan Gaya Kalimat Dalam Cerpen Bukan Kawan Karya Gunawan Tri Atmodjo Melalui Pendekatan Stilistika

ABSTRACT
Word style and sentence style are the central elements in a literary work, both of these elements are a part that functions as a conveyor of the meaning of a literary work. The use of word styles and sentence styles in literary works makes the reader understand the intentions and goals of authors in writing literary works. In line with this statement, this study aims to describe the shape of the word style and sentence style in the short story Bukan Kawan by Gunawan Tri Adtmojo and describe the dominant word style and sentence style used in the short story Not Kawan by Gunawan Triadtmojo. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. The data analysis technique used is in the form of reference techniques. The references used are the opinions of experts, as well as research relevant to this study. Data collection techniques using the technique of reading and taking notes. This research produces written data. The results showed that in the context of word styles there are 3 connotative word styles, 3 concrete word styles, 6 absorption words from Javanese, and 1 vulgar word style. Meanwhile, in the context of sentence style found 1 elliptical sentence, 3 short and simple sentences, 1 inversion sentence, 2 question and command sentences. In this short story the author is more likely to use the absorption of words from the Javanese language, and the dominant style uses short and simple sentences, this happens because the author’s own background in writingliterary works.
